Lead Pastor

Pastor Aaron L. A. Wilson

Pastor Wilson brings years of faithful ministry, a passion for discipleship, and a heart for Hendersonville. Throughout his upbringing, he was actively involved in his father's congregation until age eighteen. In June 1999, he sensed an early calling to preach the Gospel. Although he did not immediately embrace it, his parents' teachings and life experiences ultimately led him back to the church. Under the mentorship of Rev. Dr. Breonus Mitchell at Greater Grace Community Church, Rev Wilson fully embraced his ministerial calling on May 6, 2012. In 2014, he joined Fourteenth Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, where he was licensed on November 16, 2014 and ordained on October 24, 2021, under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Frank S. Gordon. Affectionately known as 'The ChristianEd Pastor', education has bee a cornerstone of Rev. Wilson's journey. He earned his degree from The American Baptist College in May 2017 and is pursing a Master in Christian Education at The Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. He serves as the CCE Program Coordinator in the Division of Christian Education at the Sunday School Publishing Board, NBC USA, Inc. Rev. Wilson is the father of three children: Kamari Uriah, Khamylle Ja'Niece Sarai and Olivia Erin Wilson.
